Copy Installation file to American LaserWare Folder
Uninstall current version. Will not touch any user files (config, fixture, etc.) Use START/ALL PROGRAMS/PROLASE10/UNINSTALL.
Double Click on Installation file to run.
On most Window’s 7, 8, 10 systems the installation folder is:
“C:\Programdata\American LaserWare\ProLase10″.
For Window’s XP use the installation folder “C:\Program files\American LaserWare\ProLase10″. During all Window’s XP installations override the default folder and specify “C:\Program files\American LaserWare\ProLase10″.
REQUIRES DONGLE BE UPGRADED FROM PROLASE 7 to PROLASE 10. Contact American LaserWare to order dongle upgrade.
1. Make a COPY of the ProLase7/XP Installation folder in “\American LaserWare” folder.
2. Download ProLase 10 Installation file.
3. Copy Installation file to “\American LaserWare” Folder.
4. Rename COPY of ProLase7/XP folder to “ProLase10”. “\American LaserWare” folder will now have both a “\ProLase7/XP” folder and a “\ProLase10” folder.
5. Double Click on Installation file to run.
6. On most Window’s 7, 8, 10 systems the installation folder is: “C:\ProgramData\American LaserWare\ProLase10”. For Window’s XP use the installation folder “C:\Program files\American LaserWare\ProLase10”. During all Window’s XP installations override the default installation folder and specify “C:\Program files\American LaserWare\ProLase10”.
7. Plug in ProLase 10 dongle and run ProLase 10. NOTE: After installing ProLase10 you can run either ProLase7/XP or ProLase10 from the START menu. Remember any files saved by ProLase10 will no longer be loadable by ProLase7. DEFAULT.PRE file is automatically saved when exiting ProLase. If AUTOSAVE is selected LAZ files are automatically saved when marked. To avoid confusion, ProLase7 EXEs should be deleted from the ProLase 10 folder, they will still exist in the ProLase7 folder.
NOTE:
ProLase 10 can run in Windows 10/7/XP. ProLase 7 can run in Windows 7/XP. ProLase XP can only run in Windows XP.
